Physician Assistant Emergency Medicine New

Overview
Our client is seeking a Physician Assistant for Emergency Medicine with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in an ER setting and possess the necessary licenses and certifications. This role offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities
● Perform entire patient care continuum of urgent care and acute patients in the Emergency Department
● Perform initial assessments, order/interpret diagnostics, exercise treatment algorithms, and arrange appropriate disposition for patients of all ages
● Utilize available physician resources appropriately
● Demonstrate high confidence in treating patients
● Available for Primary Patient Care including review of lab/x-ray reports, medication refills, patient referral, patient education, health maintenance, and symptom management

Schedule and Shift Details
● 1728 clinical hours per year, 12x12 hour shifts per month (11am-11pm), 30-35 patients per day, No Call Physician on every shift

Required Qualifications
• Master's degree or higher
• Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification/license
• Valid Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) certification/license in New Mexico (NM)
