Position Description

Overview
Our client is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for an Urgent Care position in Socorro, NM. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Nursing and a minimum of two years' experience in an ER setting. This role involves performing patient care, ordering/interpreting diagnostics, and providing treatment for patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
● Perform entire patient care continuum of urgent care and acute patients in the Emergency Department
● Utilize available physician resources appropriately
● Demonstrate high confidence in treating patients
● Available for Primary Patient Care for patients of all ages

Schedule and Shift Details
● 1728 clinical hours per year, 12x12 hour shifts per month (11am-11pm), 30-35 patients per day, No Call Physician on every shift

Required Qualifications
• Master's degree or higher
• Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) in New Mexico (NM) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in New Mexico (NM) certifications/licenses
• Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification/license
