Nurse Practitioner - Internal Medicine New

Are you a new grad or experienced post-acute care nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) who aims to make a difference? TeamHealth needs someone like you! We are seeking an NP or PA to work in a skilled nursing facility rounding 2-3 days a week. This opportunity includes the flexibility to set your own schedule. We have no start/stop times so you can round in the morning or in the afternoon and still have great work/life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform primary care in a skilled nursing facility setting for short term and long-term patients
• Manage chronic disease, diagnose illnesses and medical conditions, and implement plan of care
• Order and interpret lab results
• Prescribe and monitor medications
• Consult with physicians and coordinate patient care with other healthcare providers
• Educate patients and their caregivers on coping skills to handle chronic and age-related conditions
• Build relationships with your patients, patients' family members, and facility staff to facilitate effective treatment delivery
• Promote healthy lifestyle changes

Expected compensation is estimated salary range of $64,000 to $81,000 annually with no cap on productivity income potential.
